McGrath Acura of Westmont received the Precision Team Dealer of Distinction status the following years: 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2003, 2002, 2000.

The Dealership of Distinction status is the most prestigious and coveted honor that Acura can grant to its dealerships. The status recognizes those dealership teams that demonstrate superior achievement in customer satisfaction, sales and service training, customer follow-up, and business management. Acura dealerships are given the year to achieve the rigorous set of objectives and prove they are worthy of Acura's most prestigious award. All criteria are established to enhance the client experience; most measures are based on actual client feedback and survey scores. To achieve success in the program, a total commitment to excellence by the entire dealership team is required. More than 260 Acura dealerships participated in the 2008 Precision Team program and only 60 earned the 2008 Dealership of Distinction status.

Acura dealerships that received the 2008 Precision Team Dealer of Distinction status realize what this honor demands - excellence, which can only be achieved by working as a team. The status reflects a total commitment to customers; it is the highest praise that an Acura dealership can receive because it demands the highest personal investment and stimulates the greatest results - satisfied, loyal customers.

Similarly, our greater Chicago Acura dealership has received the 2008 Council of Excellence award from Honda Financial Services for excellence in providing the best in Customer Service for those clients electing to finance or lease their new or pre-owned Acura. It is the third time the dealership has received this award.

Only 38 dealerships, nationwide, receive this prestigious award; and, fewer yet reach both Precision Team and Council of Excellence status in the same year.

Furthermore, the dealership has the distinction of being EXCELL validated, which ensures that all the management tools are in place and functioning for the Continuous Improvement Process to work throughout the dealership.

An acronym for Exceeding Customers Expectation Levels for Life, the EXCELL program is used as a tool to facilitate our continuous evaluation of the customer experience; and, then, it is used to help us periodically make the necessary changes in the dealership's processes to increase the value you receive for the dollars you spend with us.

Professional evaluators routinely inspect the dealership's operation to review our performance in a variety of categories; and, when satisfied that we have met the rigorous Continuous Improvement Management criteria, they classify the dealership as EXCELL Validated. McGrath Acura of Westmont has been EXCELLValidated each and every year of the program's existence. Not all Acura dealerships meet these criteria, nor do they embrace the tenets of the Continuous Improvement Process.
